About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, cardiac catheterization experience preferred License: Valid state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS Must-Have: Familiarity with electrophysiology, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures Description: The position requires an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates with cardiac catheterization experience will be preferred. The role involves assisting with various interventional procedures. Call is required 1-2 nights per week and on every 4th weekend. Familiarity with the following skills is advantageous: - ASD closures - Cardiac ablation - Cardiac implant closure device - Cardiac mapping - Cardioversion - Carotid stenting - Endovascular interventions - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Pacemaker insertion - Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field Candidates must be capable of working with advanced imaging equipment.
