Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their busy and collaborative 24/7 emergency and specialty care team. The hospital treats dogs, cats, and a small number of exotic animals and offers swing shift or floating schedule options with no on-call responsibilities. Working Hours / Rota This is a full-time position with swing shift or floating schedule flexibility. The hospital operates 24/7, ensuring continuous care and support. Role Description and Responsibilities Emergency veterinarians can handle everything from major surgeries to treating animals suffering from bowel issues. These specialists play a vital role in animal care by helping animals when they need it most. This position is open to experienced veterinarians. Practice Details The hospital is the largest 24-hour emergency and specialty facility in the Inland Empire, encompassing 14,000 square feet with 8 exam rooms and 3 surgical suites. It is equipped with a 1.5 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic instrumentation, endoscopy, multiple ultrasounds, a CT scanner with automatic injector, and a full in-house laboratory. Services include surgery, internal medicine, radiology, critical care, and neurology, supported by advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Team The hospital's collaborative team includes 17 doctors, 28 registered veterinary technicians, and 21 veterinary assistants, all working together to deliver exceptional emergency and specialty care.
