TECHNICIAN

Job Title Job Description You will perform work in support of energetic formulation development, experimentation, and preparation and testing of said formulations. You will take an active role in the purchasing of chemicals, materials and parts needed to support formulation development. You will coordinate the movement and inventory of explosives as required. You will actively communicate with counterparts in M-Dept to schedule time in the plant to support material manufacturing requirements. You will prepare appropriate safety documentation while understanding and using Command explosive and Occupational Safety Health (OSH) programs. You will participate and organize, as required, meetings in support of the safety process to understand and mitigate exposure to hazardous environments. You will prepare cost estimates, experiment and test plans, and similar documentation. You will conduct basic non-routine testing and evaluation.
