Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Vivo Healthcare Gandy, a 160-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Tampa, FL. As an essential member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, resident-centered care and supporting our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

• Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.

• Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the quality of care, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.

• Staff Development: Plan and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of lifelong learning.

• Communication: Foster strong relationships with interdepartmental teams, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and collaboration.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
