Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students as a contract school psychologist in the St. Louis area. This opportunity promises an impactful caseload with a focus on Child Find and special education evaluations, making a tangible difference in the lives of students across two schools. You will collaborate closely with educators and families, leveraging your expertise to deliver assessments and recommendations that shape student success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Missouri Department of Education certification in School Psychology
• Experience in conducting comprehensive special education evaluations
• Knowledge of Child Find procedures preferred
• Familiarity with working with K-12 age groups
• Capable of managing an active caseload (average 8-10 cases at a time; ~32 cases per year)
• Comfortable adhering to district compliance, including fingerprinting and technology forms

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred K-12 students
• Collaborate with special education teams on eligibility determinations
• Prepare and present evaluation findings to school teams and parents
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Support Child Find initiatives and contribute professional insights
• Serve two school sites, most likely within the St. Louis and Jennings areas
