This is a remote position for anyone currently living in the United States. NIQ is evolving toward a simpler, more scalable and AI-enabled approach to talent management, performance and development. The Director, Talent Management will shape how employees, managers and leaders experience performance, talent decisions and career growth across the organization. Partnering closely with the Senior Director of Talent & Development, Tech Delivery/Enterprise IT, HR Business Partners and business stakeholders, this role will lead the evolution of NIQ's performance and growth ecosystem. The role is responsible for connecting performance management, talent reviews, development planning, succession, career growth and Workday capabilities into a more integrated and effective employee experience. This role sits at the intersection of talent strategy, employee experience, and transformation. It helps the organization move beyond performance as a process and toward performance as an enabler of growth, capability building, and business outcomes—while helping the function adopt new capabilities, product-oriented ways of working, AI-enabled practices, and scalable delivery models for the future. The successful candidate brings expertise in talent management, performance, organizational effectiveness and change leadership, combined with a strong product mindset and the ability to design experiences that work for both employees and the business. This is a hands-on builder role for a leader who understands both the strategic importance of talent and the practical realities of delivering scalable talent solutions in a complex global environment. Job Description Impact In this role, you will help NIQ create a more connected and effective approach to talent strategy, performance and growth. You will strengthen how managers and employees set goals, have meaningful development conversations, explore growth opportunities, and make informed talent decisions. You will create stronger alignment between performance, capability building, succession planning, career development, and workforce needs. You will help Talent & Development embrace more product-oriented, data-informed, and AI-enabled ways of working, creating experiences that are simpler, more valuable, and easier to adopt. Ultimately, you will help build a culture where performance and development work together to drive individual growth, organizational capability, and business results. Drive Performance and Growth Transformation Lead the evolution of NIQ’s performance and growth approach, ensuring it advances both employee development and business performance. Experience with Workday Performance and Talent Management capabilities, using talent data and insights to inform decision-making. Connect performance, development, talent reviews, succession planning, and career growth into a more integrated talent ecosystem. Strengthen Talent Development and Career Growth Align performance practices with leadership development, succession planning, internal mobility, and workforce capability priorities. Strengthen talent review and succession processes by improving how performance, potential, and development insights are captured and used. Enable scalable, digital talent experiences. Partner with Tech Delivery/Enterprise IT and Workday teams to optimize performance and talent management processes Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, self-service, and digital tools to improve performance, development, and talent experiences. Build Manager Capability and Adoption Strengthen manager effectiveness by improving how managers lead performance, coaching, development, and talent conversations. Design practical enablement strategies, resources, and learning experiences that build confidence and consistency across the organization. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience across Talent Management, Talent Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Performance Management, Leadership Development, or related disciplines. Extensive experience with Workday Performance and Talent Management capabilities, using talent data and insights to inform decision-making. Meaningful experience designing and leading performance, talent or development initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations. Strong understanding of performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, leadership development, and workforce capability building. Strong product mindset, with the ability to design for both employee needs and enterprise outcomes, make deliberate trade-offs and continuously improve solutions based on evidence and feedback. Experienced knowledge of AI-enabled ways of working, digital talent experiences, workforce analytics or employee-facing technologies. Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority. Excellent execution discipline, adaptability and change leadership capabilities.
