THE ROLE Turf Crew members will help execute various flooring installations and logistics to help with the beautification of various venues and when needed assist with other scenic projects. This position will report to the Project manager and/or the Sr. Director. This is not a remote position. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the installation and strike of various turf projects Performs the load-in and out of department equipment and turf materials Properly use hand and power tools related to turf efficiently Follow directives on how each install should be handled as different methods may be needed Safely operate heavy equipment when needed All other projects and initiatives as identified Comply with company and OSHA safety regulations Operate and care for work areas in a safe, clean manner Ability to identify materials needed to complete a turf installation Project a professional image by working steadily, being a team player and being responsible for personal actions QUALIFICATIONS 1+ year(s) minimum turf installation experience must possess a valid and current driver license must possess a valid and current U.S. passport ability to operate equipment such as forklift, and lull ability to use hand tools, saws, etc.. in a safe manner must be highly motivated and possess interpersonal communication skills working knowledge of web and mobile technologies as well as two-way radio must possess working mobile device, preferably smart phone Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 50lbs or more Ability to move, lift, stand, and work for extended periods of 10-14 hours OSHA 10 required WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event location Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa. Hiring Salary Range: $22.00 - $30.00 USD Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the California Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements Law. It is estimated based on what a successful Nevada applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Nevada or perform the position from Nevada. Similar positions located outside of Nevada will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Insomniac takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. The expected compensation for this position is: $16.90 USD Hourly Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
