Description
Essential Job Functions
Ensure execution of daily operations within the department.
Review & audit drivers logs and inspections.
Work closely with Safety & Compliance.
Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees.
Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards.
Enforce policy and procedure compliance.
Coordinate with other departments within the company.
Respond to & solve problems.
Train employees on job specific duties.
Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements.
Effectively communicate with drivers, clients, vendors and employees.
Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process.
Other duties as assigned.

Problem solving- identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Client Service- manages difficult client situations, responds promptly to client needs and welcome client feedback.
Quality management-look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Physical Requirements
Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED Required.
Four years industry experience required.
Two years supervisory required.
