Responsibilities As a Permanent Mill Operator, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Operating milling machines to meet production goals and maintain the highest level of quality control. Regularly inspecting equipment to identify any maintenance needs or malfunctions. Adjusting machine settings to optimize production efficiency and quality. Adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment. Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot any issues and improve operational processes. Accurately documenting operations and production quantities. Assisting with training of new staff members on machine operation and safety procedures. Qualifications The successful candidate will bring a strong commitment to safety, a collaborative work style, and a passion for quality. The required qualifications for this role include: A minimum of 5 years' experience as an operator in the manufacturing industry. Proven experience operating milling machines or similar machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
