You'll work closely with production technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to meet production targets and maintain strict quality and safety standards. This is an onsite role on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM) with occasional Saturdays as needed in Simi Valley, CA.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamSet up, operate, and maintain CNC machines and conventional equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, presses)Perform machine setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance to keep production runningRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job travelers to ensure correct part productionSelect appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for machining operationsUse calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product qualityInspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerancesTroubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtimeMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and collaborate with team members to meet deadlinesHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines independentlyExperience setting up and running machining equipment (lathes, mills, presses)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong proficiency using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)Basic math skills for machining and measurement tasksStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsMust be able to work 2nd shift and occasional weekendsCandidates must demonstrate proficiency using calipers and micrometers during the interviewHere's What Else Might Help You OutVocational training, apprenticeship, or technical certificationExperience with both CNC and manual machiningBackground in aerospace or precision manufacturing environmentsPay Range$25.00 - $27.50/hourThis role may fill quickly.
