Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Nephrology Froedtert South Medical Group – Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin About this position We have an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The role involves clinic assignments and inpatient rounds. The hours are varied, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Minimum 80 scheduled office/rounding hours every two weeks. Key responsibilities: direct patient care in the clinic, handle all aspects of treatment plans, review and evaluate test results, complete medical documentation, and conduct patient follow up calls under physician supervision. Qualifications and Skills Education: Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, Master of Nurse Practitioner, or Doctor of Nurse Practitioner. Training: Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA) or an accredited adult nurse practitioner program (NLNAC or CCNE). Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or national certification exam administered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification. License: Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Wisconsin or current license to practice as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber in Wisconsin.
