We are committed to growth and offer advancement opportunities within the organization.We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for exams; obtain and document vital signs.Update medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reason.Perform standing orders and assist with clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings, treatments, etc.).Support providers during exams and procedures.Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows).Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health.Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.Qualifications & Skills:Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in computer systems, phone communication, and documentation.Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and respect for diverse populations.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Qualifications:Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Certification: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the medical field preferred.Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug-Free Workplace.
