Job Title: Inside Sales Representative ( Warehouse Sales Representative )
Department: Stores
Reports To: Store Manager and Assistant Manager

Pay: $16 - $17 an hr.

General Description

Executes all point-of-sale and customer service functions while supporting store operations and driving sales through in-store and phone interactions.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are essential to the role; other duties may be assigned as business needs require:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in person and over the phone.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and proper use.
• Actively sell company merchandise and support team members in achieving sales goals.
• Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Job Duties

To successfully perform the essential job functions, the Inside Sales Representative must:

• Operate the BisTrack computer system to calculate pricing, taxes, and totals accurately.
• Accept payments, issue receipts, and make correct change.
• Obtain and prepare merchandise selected or requested by customers.
• Wrap or bag merchandise according to company standards.
• Stock shelves, counters, and displays with merchandise.
• Tag, stamp, or label merchandise with correct pricing.
• Set up and maintain promotional displays and signage.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, shelves, and counters.
• Participate in required training programs, both on-site and off-site.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

License Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Acceptable driving record in accordance with company and insurance standards.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to write basic communications.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings with customers and coworkers.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages accurately.
