Logistics Specialist

What is the position? The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for processing purchasing transactions and maintaining inventories of materials, equipment, supplies, and products. What will you do? Coordinate shipments of materials and equipment with suppliers and carriers Issue release-to-ship notices and verify supplier readiness Track deliveries, manage shipping delays, and update project teams Maintain shipping records and ensure accuracy of documentation Support staging, laydown yard activities, and logistics reporting Requirements 2+ years of supply chain or logistics experience Familiarity with freight scheduling, trucking, and transportation workflows Proficiency in Excel; experience with Aconex and Oracle preferred Strong communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills Knowledge of TMS systems and documentation handling Experience in industrial or energy logistics and DOT/HAZMAT regulations preferred Desired Attributes Can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently Roadblocks don’t intimidate you Can evaluate problems and develop appropriate solutions JoCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
