Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This role involves working within an all adult, acute care, Level 1 Trauma Center, utilizing primary devices such as PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Confirm physician orders, assess for appropriateness, and ensure quality patient care.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions.
• Perform respiratory/pulmonary procedures per department policy or protocol.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Participate in patient care teams and quality improvement programs.
• Attend in-services, meetings, and conferences to stay current on new techniques, equipment, and procedures.

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RRT preferred, CRT accepted if Registry Eligible with appropriate experience.
• 2+ years of experience required.
• Proficiency in Epic required.
