Delivery Driver

Description The Delivery Driver will deliver products to businesses on a scheduled route or intermittently, serve customers by meeting customer needs and resolving customer problems, and work at the branch warehouse, which includes but is not limited to maintaining the dock, loading, and performing warehouse duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Load, deliver, and unload product orders safely to customers Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers, providing information on ordering and delivery times Pick, pack, and ship orders and products Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations Maintain appropriate driver's license and endorsements Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years driving experience Must be at least 21 years old Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card (CDL not required) Available to begin by early morning Ability to respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Understanding of highway traffic signs and signals Basic computer experience or knowledge is a plus Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Routinely bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects and materials weighing 50 pounds or more Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle #J-18808-Ljbffr Forshaw
