We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-month locum opportunity in Arkansas. This assignment offers flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of three shifts per month in a well-supported Emergency Department.

• 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
• 9:00 PM 6:00 AM

Friday Sunday

• 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
• 12:00 PM 12:00 AM
• 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Practice Setting

• Emergency Department
• Level III Trauma Center
• Meditech EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
• Manage a broad range of medical and traumatic emergencies
• Collaborate with specialty consultants and APPs
• Provide high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting

Department Details

• Approximately 33,500 annual ED visits
• 20 Emergency Department beds
• 12 ICU beds
• Full specialty backup available
• Physician coverage: 36 hours/day
• APP coverage: 20 hours/day

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified ABEM or ABOEM
• Active Arkansas medical license
• Arkansas DEA
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS

Credentialing

• Approximately 120 days
• No expedited privileges available
