We go above and beyond to remove stress in all interactions and make things a little easier for all we serve.We'll pay you to get your CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement.Upon successful completion of the program and licensing, participants transition into a CDL driver role at TransWest.Compensation:$25.00 - $28.50/ hour during training (based on CDL status)$28.50 - $28.50/ hour upon successful completion of the classBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance401k with matchingAnnual pay raisesQuarterly safety performance bonusesHoliday payUniforms providedUp to 80 hours of paid time off per year, with increases based on tenurePaid DOT medical card & physicalsResponsibilities:Complete 4-week Sponsored Training Program to obtain Passenger endorsementTransport business clients to and from scheduled routes safely and reliablyConduct daily vehicle safety checks on assigned vehicles and report any defects in a timely manner; complete all required operations documentation fully and accurately dailyCreate a welcoming environment and deliver seamless experience for corporate commutersMust be professional and safety mindedPerform DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment and fuel equipment as necessaryProvide excellent customer service in every interactionMaintain vehicle cleanlinessOther duties as assignedRequirements:Obtain CDL PermitComplete 4-week TransWest Sponsored Training ProgramMust be at least 21 years of ageAcceptable Motor Vehicle Record6 Months of professional driving experienceCurrent/Active DOT Medical CardMust pass pre-employment DOT drug testEnjoy people and excel at customer serviceAble to communicate proficiently in EnglishAble to work independently, yet able to take directionEmployment contingent on background checkPhysical Requirements:Ability to remain seated and operate a vehicle for extended periods.Ability to enter and exit vehicles, including vehicles with stairs, multiple times throughout the shift.Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections, which may involve bending, reaching, or kneeling.Ability to lift, move, or position items weighing up to 50 lbs.Ability to communicate clearly with passengers, dispatch, and team members.Ability to maintain focus and alertness while driving in various weather, lighting, and traffic conditions.Ability to perform the essential driving functions required to operate the assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT and company standards.Come join our close-knit team.
