Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | Onsite | Weekend coverage expected once per month (acute setting)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in a primarily outpatient clinic setting, with additional responsibilities in an acute care setting
• Deliver patient evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic interventions across both care settings
• Participate in monthly weekend coverage rotations within the acute care setting
• May be required to work one holiday per 13-week assignment in rotation with staff (winter holiday assignments may require coverage of two holidays)
• Maintain an active Virginia Physical Therapy license throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required (license does not need to be in hand at time of submission; candidates may apply immediately upon offer)
• BLS certification required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum of one prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position (distance is calculated from the address on the candidate's Driver's License only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both outpatient clinic and acute care settings strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
