Job Title A.M. Janitor (12 HR) Business Unit Sanitation Function Cleans manufacturing equipment, production tools, floors. Reports To Chris Scott Schedule 5:30A.M. to 5:30P.M. (12‑hour shifts). Rotating weeks: Week1 – SunOff, MonOff, TueWork, WedWork, ThuOff, FriOff, SatWork. Week2 – SunWork, MonOff, TueOff, WedWork, ThuWork, FriOff, SatOff. Work on some holidays is required. General Summary The Janitor maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of plant common areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and designated production‑adjacent areas. The role supports food manufacturing operations by ensuring the facility is clean, orderly, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements. The Janitor may perform limited sanitation support tasks traditionally associated with machine cleaning, excluding full equipment disassembly or CIP processes. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of plant common areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and designated production‑adjacent areas. Ensure facility cleanliness and compliance with GMPs and safety requirements. Perform limited sanitation support tasks related to machine cleaning. Work on the sanitation area team, trained to clean and sanitize assigned production equipment/areas. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1‑year production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, caustic chemicals, and loud noise. Work Environment Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts. Exposure to wet, humid, or high‑place work conditions. Potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and caustic chemicals. Work environment is usually loud.
