Our team enhances operational effectiveness by analyzing and developing logistics plans that support material management, inventory control, distribution processes, and customer support initiatives. In this role, you will provide support to U.S. Navy Consolidated Hazardous Material Reutilization and Inventory Management Program (CHRIMP) activities while ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.

In this role, you will:

• Provide general sustainment and logistics support to both Ashore and Afloat Navy activities.
• Support all aspects of material management and tracking, including:
• Conducting physical inventories.
• Performing material research using Navy and commercial systems and databases.
• Supporting container labeling and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Collaborate with military, civilian, and contractor personnel to support CHRIMP sustainment requirements.
• Utilize Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other logistics systems to support inventory management and material accountability.
• Process and maintain HAZMAT inventory records and data within Navy systems of record.
• Analyze customer issues, identify potential solutions, provide recommendations, and deliver follow up guidance or training as needed.
• Support inventory audits, data collection efforts, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports, analyze data, and communicate results.
• Exercise sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills while working independently and as part of a team.

This position supports a U.S. Government contract whose terms require applicants to be U.S. Citizens.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Four (4) years of related logistics, supply, inventory management, or HAZMAT experience.
• Experience in DoD or commercial logistics and inventory management environments.
• Familiarity with Navy logistics processes, HAZMAT management programs, and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, as required.
