Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for a high-volume Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately within electronic health records.
• Manage trauma and critical cases efficiently, ensuring adherence to protocols such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience in a busy hospital setting.
• Maintain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Be willing to meet travel requirements, including a minimum of 1-year travel experience.
• Be able to work night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in trauma and emergency care.
