The City of Lee’s Summit is looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Worker II to join our Central Building Services team and help keep City buildings, equipment, and operations safe, functional, and running. This isn't your typical desk job. Supporting remodeling, renovation, and construction projects. Maintaining electrical equipment and building systems. Diagnosing problems and finding the right solution. Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment running and prevent bigger problems down the road. Lubricating locks, bearings, and hinges and changing V-belts on motors and exhaust fans. Working with City staff, contractors, and suppliers.
