Experienced Satellite Electrical Power and Harness Systems Engineer

Overview Experienced Satellite Electrical Power and Harness Systems Engineer (Level3) – Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS). Location: ElSegundo, California. Position Responsibilities Ensure integrated execution and alignment of subsystem with Program EPS/Harness Integrated Product Team Lead. Lead program execution for EPS/Harness subsystems engineering. Develop EPS/Harness portions of spacecraft and system specifications. Define system requirements, flow down and verification. Take end‑to‑end responsibility of EPS/Harness subsystem through life cycle. Define unit requirements and specifications (with REA support). Perform subsystem architecture & sizing (including block diagrams). Develop and maintain comprehensive specifications, including technology insertion (roadmap). Provide unit data buy‑off. Contribute inputs to EPS/Harness subsystem‑level test procedure development. Facilitate design reviews as required (PDR, CDR, etc.). Define subsystem‑to‑subsystem interface requirements. Support unit qualification and inputs to spacecraft database, flight software and flight operating procedures. Ensure EPS/Harness subsystem launch and mission readiness. Participate and support cost and schedule reduction initiatives. Handle mission responsibilities including launch and mission. Basic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non‑US equivalent directly related to the work statement. 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience. 5+ years of experience working with space‑related electrical power and harness subsystems. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Experience with Satellite Systems Engineering Processes. Experience with Satellite Mission Operations. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $119,850 – $162,150.
