Patient Services Specialist – Journey Level Responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services, insurance verification, and general clerical duties. Demonstrates compassionate service, effective communication, and operational excellence. Patient Services Specialist – Senior Level Serves as a subject matter expert and resource to peers. Performs all core functions of associate and Journey PSS roles. Responsible for resolving complex issues, orienting and training new caregivers, and participating in departmental initiatives and continuous improvement. Qualifications Patient Services Specialist: 1 year of medical office or related experience OR 6 months of experience as a Providence employee in a related position. Senior Patient Services Specialist: 3 years of related customer service, medical office, or healthcare experience. Location(s) Multiple locations: Agoura Hills, Carson, Hawthorne, Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Torrance, West Hills. Salary Patient Services Specialist – Santa Monica: $24.00 - $31.52 per hour. Senior Patient Services Specialist – Santa Monica: $24.00 - $35.77 per hour.
