Physical Therapy Aide

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to provide essential support in delivering physical therapy treatments under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. This role involves utilizing modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques to assist patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments as directed by licensed physical therapists.
• Utilize various modalities, manual techniques, and exercise methods to enhance patient care.
• Instruct and guide patients through functional activities, including bed mobility, transfers, gait training, and balance exercises.
• Work independently while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Mentor and train new staff on technical skills and best practices within the department.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
