Associate Veterinarian
Beyond Just You
Job Description
Job Description
What if your next veterinary role gave you clinical variety, meaningful mentorship, and a team you actually enjoy working with?
This opportunity could be a great fit for a veterinarian who likes more than one type of medicine. You'll have the chance to work across small animal, large animal, equine, and select exotic or wildlife cases, while building your skills alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Whether you're an experienced DVM looking for a long-term home or a new graduate ready to grow your confidence, there's room here to develop your interests and take on as much responsibility as you're ready for.
What You'll Find Here
Real variety: Move beyond a single-species caseload and keep your clinical days interesting.
Personalized mentorship: New graduates can receive one-on-one guidance as they build their clinical and surgical skills.
Support when cases get challenging: Work alongside a team rather than feeling like you have to figure everything out alone.
Room to grow: Develop your interests in surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and mixed-animal medicine.
A community-oriented environment: Build lasting client relationships while practicing medicine in a close-knit rural setting.
What You'll Be Doing
The role combines general practice and urgent care with a broad mixed-animal caseload. Expect opportunities in physical exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, preventive care, and client education.
Clinical resources include digital radiography, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, and facilities/resources for large-animal care.
Who Might Love This
Enjoys small and large animal medicine rather than doing the same cases every day
Wants structured support while developing new skills
Is comfortable with urgent cases—or wants to become more confident handling them
Values strong client relationships and a hardworking, team-oriented environment
Likes the idea of practicing in a smaller community
