Pay Rate

• Salary Range: $38.50 – $57.00/hr (based on years of experience)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or valid Multi-State Compact license

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Master’s Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Minimum 5 years of Behavioral Health Director experience required (or a seasoned Behavioral Health Manager with 5+ years of leadership in a current acute care setting will be considered)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required

• Mandatory background fingerprint clearance required prior to start

• Proven executive leadership in fiscal management, regulatory compliance, quality metrics, and multidisciplinary psychiatric care

Responsibilities

• Direct daily clinical and administrative operations across the behavioral health service line to achieve quality improvement, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals

• Provide strategic leadership and direct supervision for nursing and clinical staff, maintaining high standards of patient care and accountability

• Ensure strict adherence to corporate, hospital, and patient safety policies as well as healthcare regulatory standards

• Serve as a primary liaison connecting patients, family representatives, medical staff, physicians, and administrative leadership

• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and nurse staffing models to optimize clinical productivity and control departmental costs

• Develop, monitor, and execute continuous quality improvement (CQI) and clinical outcome initiatives across all behavioral health units
