Machine Prep Technician
- Prepare and configure CNC machine tools for shipment to customer facilities.
- Perform mechanical assembly, machine setup, and installation of components, tooling, accessories, and automation systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation.
- Install and adjust machine components to ensure proper fit, alignment, and operation.
- Perform quality checks and functional testing on completed machine setups.
- Inspect machines for proper assembly, alignment, and overall workmanship before shipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Work with precision measuring tools and hand tools during machine preparation and assembly.
- Document machine preparation, testing, adjustments, and completed work according to company procedures.
- Work closely with engineering, service, and manufacturing personnel to resolve issues and ensure machines meet customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures.
- Prepare completed machines for shipment, ensuring components and accessories are properly installed, secured, and documented.
