Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital is a state-of-the-art 150-bed hospital in Holyoke, MA operated jointly by Lifepoint Behavioral Health and Baystate Health.

Position Overview:
\n We are recruiting a part time Psychiatrist to assist in patient management within our DMH inpatient unit. This role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Forensic Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in an inpatient setting.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a compassionate and professional manner.
\n
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision as needed.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
\n
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
\n
• Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain one.
\n
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
\n
