Professional Land Surveyor PLS

We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor PLS to join our Geospatial Data Services team, focusing on projects across the Western Slope region from Grand Junction, CO corridor through Glenwood, CO, and Montrose, CO to Grand Junction, CO. Responsibilities Topographic mapping, boundary surveys, processing field surveys and construction staking Interact with clients, contractors, and junior surveyors Perform surveys for construction, land development, topographic, right-of-way, ALTA, and control survey projects Participate in pre‑survey planning meetings with project managers, resident project representatives, engineers, and contractor representatives Work overtime as needed and maintain good communication skills while working independently Obtain and maintain a valid MVR records check verifying a driver’s license and acceptable driving record per our Driving Program Essential Qualifications Associate degree in civil engineering technology, surveying, or related field Active PLS License in the State of Colorado Desire and ability to obtain licensure in adjacent states with bonus paid per state Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR records check Effective communication skills and independent work capability Preferred Qualifications Minimum of seven (7) years surveying experience Proficiency with Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center Software Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation Familiarity with CDOT procedures Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or related field PLS license in any of the following states: AZ, UT, NM, WY, CO, OR, WA, ID, MT Compensation & Benefits Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $95,000 to $130,000 based on skill set and experience. Location: Western Slope region including Grand Junction, Glenwood, and Montrose corridors in Colorado. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and must be willing to relocate if required.
