Work Environment

The position will be located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Fremont, California. Our facility is specifically designed for orthopedic outpatient therapy, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and rehabilitation equipment. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to assess their mobility and functional status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving the patient's specific goals and improving overall quality of life.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized treatment.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality interventions.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress regularly using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment options, balancing cost-effective solutions while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Conduct patient education and consultation to motivate individuals towards achieving their health and lifestyle goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.
• Engage in community outreach and patient workshops to promote awareness about orthopedic health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population varies in age and activity levels, presenting diverse needs that require tailored rehabilitation strategies. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no board actions or disciplinary measures in place.
• Minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care settings.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing exercise routines tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, and ability to efficiently document patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience implementing fitness and wellness programs to address specific patient requirements.
• Background in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.
• Continued education in advanced physical therapy techniques.
• Proven record of achieving positive outcomes through rehabilitation interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and continuing education allowances.
