Contents are subject to change at the company's discretion. Education Required - Registered nurse diploma. Preferred - Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing. Certifications Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong interpersonal skills. Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed. Ability to demonstrate good judgement. Job Duties Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care. Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and other groups or disciplines. Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team. Uses data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the profession of nursing. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style. Physical and Environmental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role. Requirements Registered Nurse - LA or Compact 1 year experience required 2 year experience preferred Benefits Health insurance available upon start of assignment. Local RN = $45 per hour (fully taxable, no stipend eligible) $67.50 per hour OT/Holiday pay Travel RN = $1900 per week ($25 per hour taxable + $1000 weekly stipend non-taxable) $67.50 per hour OT/Holiday pay
