Client Relationship Manager

Our service team plays a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued clients and our insurance partner carriers.

Responsibilities include managing the entire account-service process, marketing to carriers, preparing quotes and proposals, assisting with client presentations, maintaining renewal controls on expirations and binders, coordinating premium financing and the collection of premiums, as needed, assisting with retention of client accounts, identifying existing customer needs and making appropriate recommendations, handling telephone calls and/or emails with professionalism and follow up on any action needed related to each transaction, maintaining client files within the agency's automation system to ensure proper documentation, being familiar and following specific Company and Agency guidelines in marketing new business applications, renewals, and processing existing policy changes, greeting clients and prospective clients extending courtesy, kindness, determining their needs, and directing them to the proper office, being familiar with and following agency E&O guidelines, assisting producers and managers with any special projects or requests, participating in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development, maintaining open communication with department and office personnel to build teamwork and efficiency, maintaining audit, security, compliance and regulatory standards, keeping informed of changes in general, banking services, procedures, and in the economy as well, assisting with company functions when possible, filling in for other departments and/or companies when high volume creates a need if it works within the department/company schedule, working Saturdays and some holidays on a rotation basis, and assuming other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Minimum qualifications include being a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good communication skills both verbal and written, having a thorough understanding of commercial lines underwriting and coverage, critical proofing, having keyboarding and computer skills, Microsoft Word & Excel required, having a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position, being licensed per state requirements, being capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information, and possessing skills to maintain harmonious working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and customers.

Physical requirements include light work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others. You should be capable of performing in a reasonable manner, with or without reasonable accommodation, the activities involved in this job.

Machines used include computer, scanner, fax, copier, and telephone. In-house training requirements include continue on-going training for department operations, policies and procedures. Normal working days are Monday through Friday~40 hour work week. However, work on some Saturdays, Sunday or holidays may be required by your supervisor.
