Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the cardiovascular operating room environment and coordinate care throughout surgical procedures including AVR, MVR, CABG, Bentall, and aortic dissection cases
• Assist surgeons during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout intraoperative care
• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, surgical technologists, PCTs, and trauma teams
• Fulfill on-call obligations as assigned, including evening call shifts and rotating weekend call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a CVOR RN
• Open heart surgery experience is required
• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma center experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Additional cardiovascular subspecialty experience
