Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QE III)Location: Eagan MN – Remote - Must be local and available for occasional onsite work if needed. Start Date: 3/2 Duration: Contract with extension potential Openings: 1We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join an agile delivery team and take ownership of testing across complex, integrated systems.This role is hands-on, fast moving, and requires someone who knows how to lead testing efforts without needing constant direction.You will be responsible for driving quality across the full testing lifecycle, from requirement review through go live, while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the QE representative on an agile delivery teamReview and clarify requirements to ensure testability and coverageEstimate testing effort and plan work using proven test estimation techniquesCreate, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenariosCollaborate with team members on test case and automation developmentLog, track, and manage defects through resolutionSupport UAT and go live activitiesLeverage test data management to identify and consume appropriate test dataApply strong QA and engineering best practices throughout the lifecycleBring creative and innovative testing approaches, especially under tight timelinesFacilitate testing meetings and communicate results clearlyReport on defects, metrics, and testing statusProvide clear go or no go recommendations for releasesRequired Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of Quality Engineering or QA testing experienceExperience with Loan Origination or Loan Servicing systemsStrong expertise with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworksProven ability to lead testing efforts across programs with multiple integrated systemsStrong backend testing experience including APIs and databasesAbility to write and execute complex SQL queriesExperience using AI tools to enhance testing effectivenessWorking knowledge of SnowflakeExperience with Azure DevOps or similar test management toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working in a rapidly changing environmentAble to deliver with minimal guidance
