The Opportunity Join an established cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery group Permanent, full-time position with partnership track Shared call rotation approximately 1:41:5 Predominantly day-shift schedule Clinical Practice Comprehensive adult cardiovascular surgery practice Case mix includes: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) Valve repair and replacement Aortic surgery including aneurysm and dissection management Emergent and urgent cardiac surgery Annual cardiac volume: 300400 cases Subspecialty interests welcomed (not required): Aortic surgery Structural heart and valve programs Minimally invasive or hybrid approaches Candidate Profile Fellowship trained Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon Board Certified or Board Eligible Active Mississippi medical license or participation in the IMLC, or willingness to obtain licensure Practice Environment Collaborative, team-oriented culture Strong clinical support Emphasis on quality outcomes and work-life balance Location Highlights Low cost of living and affordable housing Family-friendly community Rich culture, history, and Southern hospitality
