Full Time 1-year Fixed Term ContractSupport course review and development and implementation across the UniversityBase salary of $126,065 – 142,171 + 17% superannuation (increasing in June 2026)About the opportunityJoin the Curriculum and Policy team and support course reviews, development and implementation across the University. As the Curriculum Development Specialist, you will support the review, development, implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of courses, ensuring alignment with curriculum principles, regulatory requirements, and professional accreditation standards.Working closely with faculties, University schools, and staff within the Division of the Academic Registrar and across the Education and Students Portfolio, you will contribute to meaningful reviews and continuous improvement initiatives that inform and enhance courses.Your key responsibilities will be to:collaborate closely with faculties, University schools, the Curriculum and Policy team, Division of the Academic Registrar, Education and Students Portfolio to support course reviews and developmentcoordinate and contributing to course reviews, including data collection, analysis, benchmarking, and reportingsupport the implementation of recommendations arising from course reviews to improve coursesprepare reports, executive summaries, and supporting documentation for review and quality assurance activitiesassist academic and professional staff in progressing course changes from development, to committee consideration and where applicable, implementationidentify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation processes, and operational practices across course development activitiesAbout youdemonstrated experience in course development, course review, and the implementation in a university contextextensive knowledge of curriculum design, assessment, and quality assurance frameworks and higher education legislationstrong understanding of university governance structures, including corporate and academic governance requirementsproven experience preparing reports, executive documentation, and detailed written recommendations for diverse stakeholder groups.experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across academic and professional teams in a university contextexcellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Work RightsYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
