Masonry Project Manager

Location: Chiacgo Industry: Masonry Restoration, Concrete Repair, Waterproofing & Building Envelope Restoration About the Opportunity A well-established specialty restoration contractor is looking to add a Masonry Project Manager to its growing team. This company has a strong reputation for delivering complex façade restoration, masonry repair, waterproofing, and concrete rehabilitation projects across commercial, institutional, industrial, and historic structures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to manage high-profile exterior restoration projects from award through closeout while working alongside experienced operations and field teams. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple masonry and restoration projects simultaneously. Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships. Coordinate field operations with superintendents, foremen, and trade partners. Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals. Track project costs, change orders, and monthly forecasting. Lead project meetings with owners, consultants, and stakeholders. Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Procure materials and coordinate deliveries to job sites. Support estimating and pre-construction teams during project handoff. Manage project closeout documentation, punch lists, and final billing. Typical Project Scope Brick and stone restoration Historic masonry preservation Tuckpointing and repointing Brick replacement and rebuilding Terra cotta restoration Limestone and cast stone repair Concrete repair and structural restoration Expansion joint replacement Waterproofing systems Facade stabilization projects Sealant replacement Parking garage restoration Building envelope rehabilitation Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience within masonry, restoration, concrete repair, waterproofing, or building envelope construction. Strong understanding of exterior restoration means and methods. Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $20M+. Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, and restoration reports. Knowledge of scheduling software and project management platforms. Experience preparing and negotiating change orders. Strong communication and client-facing skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
