Role Overview As the Content Creator & Social Lead, you will be the on‑camera personality, behind‑the‑scenes producer, and cultural pulse‑keeper for the Flodesk brand. You’ll own our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads, driving growth and engagement through short‑form content, trend‑savvy storytelling, and product education that resonates with small‑business owners and digital entrepreneurs. You’ll work closely with the executive and marketing teams to shape and share the larger Flodesk story. Responsibilities Grow Flodesk’s social presence and engage users on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads, focusing on short‑form video content, narrative storytelling, and creator‑first trends. Create and, when appropriate, star in compelling, platform‑native content that reflects the brand voice and connects with small‑business owners and digital entrepreneurs. Foster real‑time connection and community growth through conversation, comments, and DMs. Coordinate closely with executives, marketing, product marketing, and brand teams to translate product narratives into clear, engaging content that educates, inspires, and converts. Partner with product marketing and brand to develop content that supports feature launches, tutorials, and community education. Coordinate with partners and internal teams to manage content co‑creation and social‑first campaigns with creators and influencers in the community. Track performance and optimize for reach, engagement, and business impact using analytics tools. Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and creator‑economy shifts to keep content relevant and resonant. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing with a proven record of growing and engaging audiences. Comfortable being on camera and telling stories that feel natural and compelling. Ability to translate big ideas and product concepts into content people actually want to watch and share. Deep understanding of what works on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads and how to adapt brand voice accordingly. Highly collaborative and energized by working closely with executives, creatives, and cross‑functional teams. Fluent in the culture of creators, small‑business owners, and digital entrepreneurs. Basic video editing and content production skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Canva, etc.). Thrives in a fast‑paced, remote‑first, startup environment where creativity and autonomy are highly valued. Enjoys traveling to conferences, off‑sites, and in‑person events. Benefits & Compensation $80,000–$90,000 base salary. Fully remote with monthly internet stipend.
