Topper Industries is a U.S. manufacturer of engineered aluminum marine infrastructure including gangways floating docks marina systems and access structures. Our products are used in marinas waterfront developments and marine facilities across North America.

We operate in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment where engineering fabrication and logistics must stay tightly aligned to deliver complex custom projects.

Position Summary

Topper Industries is seeking a Project Manager to own execution of projects from engineering through fabrication and final delivery.

This is not a traditional desk-based PM role. This position is responsible for driving execution across the business working closely with engineering procurement and the shop to ensure projects stay on track issues are addressed quickly and teams remain aligned.

You will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in improving how projects are planned communicated and executed as the company scales .

What Youll Be Responsible For

Project Execution

• Own projects from engineering release through fabrication and delivery
• Build and manage project schedules ensuring milestones are clearly defined and met
• Identify risks early and take action to keep projects on track

Operations Coordination

• Work directly with fabrication teams to ensure production aligns with project schedules
• Coordinate across engineering procurement and logistics to maintain project flow
• Ensure handoffs between departments are clear timely and complete

Communication & Visibility

• Serve as the central point of communication for project status risks and priorities
• Provide clear consistent updates to leadership and internal teams
• Maintain accurate project tracking documentation and reporting

Accountability & Follow-Through

• Hold teams accountable to deadlines deliverables and quality expectations
• Ensure that when tasks are marked complete they are verified and truly finished
• Proactively follow up on open items and prevent things from falling through the cracks

Process Improvement

• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across engineering procurement and production
• Implement improvements to scheduling communication and workflow processes
• Help build more structure and consistency into how projects are executed

• Projects are delivered on time with minimal surprises
• Engineering procurement and production operate in alignment
• Project status is clear visible and reliable
• Communication is consistent and proactive
• Operational issues are identified early and resolved quickly

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing fabrication or production environment
• Strong understanding of project scheduling coordination and execution
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering production and/or operations teams
• Hands-on proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive clarity and accountability
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (Excel Smartsheet ClickUp or similar)
