In this dynamic role, you'll manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and ensure patients are directed to the right care at the right time.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming medical calls with professionalism and compassion, screening calls and taking detailed messagesSchedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments efficiently while maintaining accurate recordsEnter detailed patient correspondence into health records and relay messages to appropriate clinical staffRespond to routine patient inquiries and direct callers to the appropriate departments or staff membersComplete patient intake information and verify insurance eligibilityGather information from providers and patients regarding concerns, escalating to the appropriate team membersProcess phone payments for patient balances and collection accounts when necessaryMaintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactionsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year of healthcare-related experienceBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)Excellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) software such as Athena Health or similar platformsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong customer service orientationAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentWhy Join Us?We're looking for someone who understands that every call matters and every patient deserves exceptional service.
