As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and vendor access in accordance with facility policies, escalating access-related concerns as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with hospital personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders regarding incidents and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
