ACME Player Services is hiring Gaming Associates to join our team at The Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, CA . No previous casino or gaming experience is required—we provide 4–5 weeks of paid, full-time training to help you build the skills you need to succeed.
If you’re reliable, motivated, comfortable with basic math, and ready to learn, this could be your opportunity to get started in the casino industry and grow your career through a progressive ladder system.
What You’ll Do
As a Gaming Associate, you’ll help maintain fair play and game integrity on the casino floor. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring table games and player activity
- Handling casino chips and verifying payouts
- Assisting dealers with collecting losing wagers
- Helping maintain game integrity and security
- Following established casino procedures and regulations
No experience? No problem. Our paid training program will teach you the skills and procedures required for the position.

After completing your initial training, you can continue developing your skills through our progressive ladder system . As you gain experience, demonstrate proficiency, and learn additional casino games and job skills, you can advance through different levels and earn up to $30/hour.
Your growth can include:
- Learning additional casino games and procedures
- Developing new floor and game-monitoring skills
- Advancing through progressive skill levels
- Increasing your earning potential as you become proficient in additional responsibilities
- Opportunities for shift differential pay for qualifying shifts
Start at $20/hour after training and continue learning, developing, and advancing toward higher-paying levels.
Pay & Compensation
- $19/hour during paid training
- $20/hour after successfully completing all training and assessments
- Progressive ladder system with opportunities to advance and earn up to $30/hour
- Opportunities to earn shift differential pay for qualifying shifts
- 4–5 weeks of full-time paid training
- $100 dress code stipend
- Assistance with licensing fees and fingerprinting
Advancement, pay increases, and shift differential eligibility are subject to applicable company policies, qualifications, and requirements.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Evening and Graveyard Shifts
- Training is held at our ACME Corporate Office in Cypress, CA
- Regular work location: The Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, CA
- Shift differential opportunities may be available for qualifying shifts
Requirements
To be considered for the Gaming Associate position, you must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and percentages
- Be reliable and able to work a full-time schedule
- Pass a basic math assessment
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Be eligible for licensing through the California Department of Justice
- Meet applicable DOJ licensing requirements regarding criminal history
