Warehouse Material HandlerThe Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting repair and test operations by ensuring accurate movement, storage, and handling of electronic equipment and materials within a temperature-controlled facility. This position helps maintain smooth production flow, inventory accuracy, and strict safety standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is not a pick-and-pack retail warehouse; the role requires strong attention to detail, careful product handling, and consistent adherence to quality and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.ResponsibilitiesReceive, stage, and move inbound and outbound materials throughout the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner.Accurately pull, deliver, and transfer products to production, test, and repair areas to support continuous workflow.Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks to safely move materials; use forklifts if qualified.Maintain accurate inventory transactions using scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or internal inventory tools.Package and prepare units for shipment according to customer specifications and internal quality standards.Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times to protect electronic equipment and maintain compliance.Perform basic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities to support inventory accuracy.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S standards and company housekeeping expectations.Support production teams by ensuring required materials are available at the right time and location.Meet established productivity expectations, including unit-per-hour targets for handling and packaging.Adhere to facility rules regarding personal items and attire, including restrictions on metal objects in the work area.Perform other duties as assigned based on operational demands and changing business needs.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift.Basic computer or scanner experience for processing inventory transactions.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and updating records.Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.Minimum age of 18 and authorization to work in the United States.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role.Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks in a warehouse or production environment.Skilled in electronics, manufacturing, or repair operations.Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS).Understanding of ESD practices or experience working in quality-controlled environments.Why Work Here?Employees join a clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility that prioritizes safety, structure, and teamwork. The operation is team-oriented and production-driven, with a fast-paced workflow and clear performance expectations, including a target of handling approximately 40 packages per hour after an initial training period. Material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners, along with warehouse management systems, are used daily to manage inventory and support production. Shifts typically run Monday through Friday on first and second shifts, with an overnight third shift that includes Sunday and MondayThursday hours. The facility enforces strict ESD and safety protocols, and employees must follow guidelines that include absolutely no metal items in the work area and appropriate attire suitable for an electronics-focused warehouse environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Argyle, TX 76226.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.50/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
