As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Bryan, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation while making a meaningful impact each shift.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, monitoring activity, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and point-of-sale locations for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft-related activity, reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Maintain readiness for an armed patrol post by handling assigned equipment in accordance with company policies and post orders while supporting a professional and customer-focused presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
