Job Details

Locums outpatient psychiatry position Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including history, examination, appropriate treatment, and referrals Coordinate inpatient care when patients require hospitalization Collaborate with consulting physicians, midlevel providers, nurses, support staff, patients, and families on treatment and care Make specialty and subspecialty referrals while maintaining continuity of care Participate in health promotion, prevention, and quality improvement activities Complete medical records in a timely and professionally detailed manner Attend required in-services and health center meetings

Requirements

Unencumbered Illinois medical license (MD or DO) Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry Current BLS certification Telepsychiatry experience preferred Valid driver's license and ability to drive Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress clinical environment
