Exciting Opportunity for a Multimodality Radiologic Technologist!

Job Description:

- We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment and produce crucial cross-sectional images for patient diagnoses.
- Your expertise will also encompass a variety of imaging procedures, including:
- General Radiography
- Fluoroscopy
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse age range.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for efficient image transfer.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Manage supply inventory effectively.
- Be ready to assist with any additional job-related duties as assigned.


Requirements:


- Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
- At least two years of recent experience in the field.


- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required).
- Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (California).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Fluoroscopy license (required in California if applicable/operating fluoroscopy equipment).
- Venipuncture certification (required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials).

- Shift Details:
- Evening shift, 5x8 hours.
- Primary start time is 1:30 PM, with flexibility based on departmental needs.

- We are looking for a strong multimodality candidate with:
- Required CT experience.
- Additional support in X-ray and Operating Room preferred.
- Ideally proficient in at least two of the three areas (CT, X-ray, OR).
