Associate Attorney

Civil Litigation Defense Attorney Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience who is looking to build and expand their practice in a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing civil litigation matters from inception through resolution and be eager to take on meaningful responsibility. This role offers direct mentorship from experienced partners, immediate client interaction, and the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload based on experience level. You will work closely with a partner while developing into a lead handling attorney, managing all aspects of litigation including court appearances, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, pre-trial strategy, trial preparation, and client reporting. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in and gain valuable trial experience. Key Responsibilities Manage civil litigation defense matters from intake through trial or resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents Conduct and defend depositions Handle court appearances, hearings, and mediations Develop case strategy and prepare cases for trial Communicate regularly with clients and provide case updates Work collaboratively with partners and support staff to drive case outcomes Requirements 2–5 years of civil litigation experience (defense experience preferred) Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada Admission to the State Bar of California is a strong plus Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage cases and deadlines Trial preparation experience preferred; courtroom experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and client service mindset Benefits Bonus & full benefits NO visa sponsorship #J-18808-Ljbffr Coastal Wave Recruiting
