Call for Salary Rate -

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages. Provides support in supervising MRI operations while maintaining high standards of safety and image quality.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conducts MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Verifies physician orders, consults with radiologists as needed, and prepares patients for imaging exams.
  
  
• 
  Explains procedures to patients, provides education, and addresses questions to ensure cooperation.
  
  
• 
  Operates and maintains MRI equipment, performs calibration, safety checks, and troubleshooting.
  
  
• 
  Evaluates MRI images for technical quality and submits quality control reports.
  
  
• 
  Adheres to MRI safety standards and safety procedures related to contrast media administration.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possesses at least 1 year of recent GE MRI experience.
  
  
• 
  Holds ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
  
  
• 
  Maintains current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrates proficiency in MRI procedures, patient care, and safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Exhibits strong communication skills and courteous behavior with patients and team members.
